   Definitely hands down Michael Jackson as the best entertainter ever.

   His singing and Dancing were mesmerizing across various genres - pop, rock, soul, funk, rnb, hip hop . He was absolutely stunning to watch live on stage, in his music videos and his dancing was amazing

   Elivs was good in rock and roll and country music, his dancing wasnt that great, only a couple of signature moves he had.. his songs would feel out of place on a modern dance floor… MJs music is timeless and will be played by all generations…

   but definitely over all entertainer of all times and ages is Michael Jackson..

   I don't think its fair to ask, which one is better? It really depends on the time you grew up, plus they both song two different genres,

   I like Michael Jackson more because I grew up with his music, when with Elvis I don't really know anything about him, but you can't say any which one is better, they are both legends

   he had 38 charites and had a concert for the uss arizona to help in building the memorial!

   they are both great in there perspective areas, elvis in his voice and mj in his dance, they are both iconic and legends in their generations and really you cant compare them! elvis didnt steal anything, if that were the case every singer who didnt w

   Michael of course. Elvis seemed good but from the stories i've read and stories my dad has told me Elvis was pretty much out of favour just before his death and not bringing in the crowds at his final concerts. I find Elvis's songs boring and I prefer a song with beat so my preference is Michael.

   !i love them both! Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, were great legends. As far as their work is concerned, they can not be compared.

   Michael jackson is a genius and entertained the world for 50 living years really takes the cake, for his dances and great talents. and Elvis Presley was the king of rock and roll, of the yester years!!!

   It doesn't matter who is greater or better. o_O. They are both talented people. I'm sure that a majority of people, including me, were not able to witness Elvis Presley's fame because we were not born yet. Thus, we have no right to judge them.

   This is not a tournament. There is no one versing (vs) each other. o_O.

    You can say what you want about Micheal's personal life but their is no denying that when it come to music he was the best that ever did it.

    Elvis was a great artist but Micheal is even greater. Micheal was like Elvis, James Brown and The Beattles rolled into one person.
    Micheal Jackson did it all ( He created the moonwalk, all dancers rate him as the best), singing( biggest selling album ever)and created groundbreaking videos(thriller the video the made mtv and set the standard for music videos to follow) .Elvis was good but he never did the things micheal did and elvis did not have the worldwide appeal Micheal did.

    They say Elvis sold a billion records but if you did the math the numbers don't add up look for yourself, im not hating on elvis cause he was great ,im just stating the facts, even if he did micheal still sold more copies per album on average. Elvis made 90 albums. Micheal made 10 and sold 750 million to date.

    If you to divide the amount of units sold per album micheal sold way more and had more singles than elvis did.

    Elvis= 90 albums divide by 1 billion units = 11 + million copies per album.

    Micheal= 10 albums divide by 750 million units= 75 million copies per album.

    Micheal wrote His own music Elvis had wirters.

    Micheal united races something Elvis never did. talent should be all that matters when it comes to their music and not their personal lives.

    Micheal is the worlds greatest entertainer.Hands down.

    Michael Jackson. I listened to his songs when I was a child before switching to death metal and alternative rock in my teens. I shall forever remember Michael Jackson for his moonwalk and the charity work that he did, and the fact that he was a really talented musician who wrote and composed almost all of his songs.

    I shall love him till the end of the world. I know I'm one of those who will miss him. Michael Jackson is the BEST ever! Nobody can ever replace him. There can never be a second Michael Jackson. His musical legacy would live on for centuries to come. He's a pop legend and would always be. He was one of the greatest singers of our generation. He was the one who brought love and joy into our lives. I don't care if he is black or white. His music is colourless and universal, even the illiterate country bumpkin in the remotest village in the world know who he is. That's how popular he is. I can never get enough of his face, his beautiful voice and his slick dance moves.

    MJ was a kind-hearted soul who doesn't deserve to die young. It's a pity that in death, few people remember him for his humanitarian efforts (he contributed to 36 charities in his lifetime). What's more, he broke 13 Guinness World Records and won 19 grammys in his career. He was no ordinary man, he's a superhero. He should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his service to humanity. MJ haters are mostly those who were brainwashed by the media, with its constant portrayal of MJ as a freako. He is not a paedophile at all. He loves children because he himself is a child at heart.

    Poor Michael, he didn't have a proper childhood. I urge all MJ haters to please leave him alone.

    Interesting question. Well both artist's are talented and very important figures in music and have made a big impact on music today. However in my opinion Michael Jackson broke more barriers then Elvis. I mean Michael Jackson made Thriller. That video was amazing, imagine if that video never came out how boring videos today would be. Also Michael Jackson has the best selling album of all time. 109 albums sold is a lot. Jackson's voice is also a lot better then Elvis's. Elvis was not a great singer however Jackson had a great voice.

    Michael Jackson was also a lot more creative and artistic then Elvis was. Elvis was a great musician, but his creativity could never match that of Michael Jackson's. Jackson was also a great man. Jackson gave away a lot of money to charities and was highly respected by music greats like Sir Paul Mccartney and Eddie Van Halen. Another thing is that Jackson had a much wider variety of music styles from songs like P.Y.T to songs like Dirty Diana and Beat it.

    When you pin two great musicians against each other it is tough to make a decision but in the end Michael Jackson was the better of the two. It's sad that both artist's had to die so young but their music still will live on forever.

    Honestly, it's hands down Elvis.
    Pop really… just doesn't seem like it takes much talent. I realize that Michael Jackson revolutionized the genre, but come on. Its synthesized music. That's what really bothers me about pop. There isn't a whole lot of talent involved in the genre. But don't get me wrong, he had a great voice.

    And sorry, you sound like an ignorant child. Elvis didn't steal his music. That's just ridiculous rumors. Just because two artists sound alike doesn't mean that one stole music.
    And you obviously don't even have any proof behind him stealing music, as all you said was "several black artists"
    Have you heard those artists, and compared the "stolen" songs?
    I doubt it. You probably just heard that he stole music from some idiot that doesn't know what he/she is talking about. Or the internet..

    And most importantly, you aren't going to get a completely unbiased opinion here, because they are two completely different genres, that some people may greatly prefer. Also, MJ just died, so most people are going to say him because they are still trying to be respectful.

    Can you believe the same assholes that called him a child molester for the past decade are now claiming to be such huge fans of him because he died?
